![]() On 7 June 2013, Universal Music Group released "Tennis Court" for digital download as Lorde's second single following " Royals" in Australia and New Zealand, where Lorde's cover of The Replacements' 1985 song " Swingin Party" serves as the B-side. Speaking to Billboard in November 2013, Little appreciated Lorde's developed songwriting skills on "Tennis Court", for which Lorde wrote the melody and the whole chorus, praising her as "an amazing songwriter". For this song, Little and Lorde first wrote the music and the beat, and the lyrics were built on the instant instrumental. Songwriting for "Tennis Court" was different from how Lorde usually writes songs by and large, she would have a lyric forming before going into the studio to record. Little acted as the song's sole producer, using audio software Pro Tools. They also recorded several additional tracks and ultimately decided to work on a full-length studio album instead. The pair recorded materials at Little's Golden Age Studios in Morningside and started writing "Tennis Court" in January 2013. ![]() Upon completion of The Love Club, Lorde and Little quickly collaborated again, initially planning to release another EP. Lorde then self-released the EP for free download via her SoundCloud account in November 2012. In December 2011, the pair finished their first collaborative effort, a five-track extended play (EP) titled The Love Club. Maclachlan subsequently signed Lorde to UMG for development and paired her up with Joel Little, a songwriter and record producer. Scott Maclachlan, an A&R executive of Universal Music Group (UMG), discovered Lorde upon witnessing her performance at her school talent show when she was 12. New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde (born 1996 as Ella Yelich-O'Connor) was interested in performing live at local venues around her home city of Auckland during intermediate school years. "Tennis Court" was included on the set list of Lorde's Pure Heroine Tour (2013–14) and Melodrama World Tour (2017–18). Joel Kefali directed the song's accompanying music video, a one shot in which Lorde stares at the camera throughout. "Tennis Court" earned platinum certification in Canada and triple platinum certifications in New Zealand and Australia. Elsewhere, the single achieved modest chart success throughout Europe and North America. ![]() It was a commercial success in Oceania, reaching number one in New Zealand and number 20 in Australia. "Tennis Court" received positive reviews from music critics, with some highlighting the song's production and lyrical content. Inspired by Lorde's fresh insights into the music industry, the lyrics address her newfound fame and nostalgia for Auckland. It combines alternative pop, art pop, and downtempo music over hip hop beats, minimalist synthesisers, and an electronic pulse. ![]() On the same day, the label released an extended play (EP) of the same name containing three additional tracks throughout Europe. Universal Music Group (UMG) released the song as the second single from her debut studio album Pure Heroine (2013) in Australia and New Zealand on 7 June 2013. She co-wrote the song with Joel Little, with production handled by the latter. " Tennis Court" is a song recorded by New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde.

![]() Whereas for Brock, Jesse gets to solve a mystery that probably would have consumed him for the rest of his life.Īnd the movie itself feels like it’s trying to make things right by Jesse after the fact. If Jesse hurt him - as he hurt his parents - by making him associated with an infamous criminal, there’s nothing Jake doesn’t already know about the subject that could make things better for him. They were already estranged the one and only time we saw him in Breaking Bad (in Season One’s “Cancer Man”). (*) That Jesse doesn’t also write one to his little brother Jake is interesting, but not too surprising. Before Jesse Pinkman ceases to exist as he used to be - assuming that guy didn’t die the night he saw Todd murder Andrea - the least he can do is explain to that poor kid why he got so sick that time, and who killed his mom and why(*). Nobody else,” he tells them, in the middle of a phone call otherwise designed to lure them out of the house so he can steal his father’s guns.) And the one person he writes a letter to before departing his old life forever is Brock, who suffered so much because his mother had the misfortune to date Cap’n Cook. There’s obviously the literal one to Ed the disappearer, who demands payment for the trip Jesse didn’t take back in “Confessions.” But Jesse also gets to say a proper goodbye to Skinny Pete and Badger, gets an extra bit of revenge-by-proxy in taking out Neil and his partner Casey, and apologizes to his parents one last time. But in addition to getting out of town with a decent amount of money, Jesse manages to repay a variety of old debts. ![]() Jesse’s adventures on the way to Alaska aren’t as sweepingly effective in this regard as Walt’s return from New Hampshire was, which makes sense, since he was never the intellectual or the showman his late partner was. The prologue with Jesse and Mike (set circa Season Five’s “Buyout,” where Jesse is ready to retire in the wake of Todd murdering Drew Sharp) establishes the movie’s key question: In escaping this criminal life, can Jesse find a way to set things right, as he suggests, or is Mike correct that all he can do is to start over? The events of the end of the series - where Walt arranges for his kids to inherit what’s left of his fortune, helps Skyler get out of her legal jam, rescues Jesse, and kills all of his remaining enemies - suggest that it is possible to right at least some of the wrongs you’ve done. ![]() But it would skip too many of the kinds of small, difficult steps that have defined this tale going all the way back to 2008. Driscoll might be interesting - and would offer a very different visual palette from the one Gilligan and company established so well on the original series and Better Call Saul. A story set largely during Jesse’s new life in Alaska as Mr. There are wrinkles in terms of exactly which old friends prove helpful to Jesse, as well as the introduction of a new foe in cruel welder Neil Kandy, but the plot functions more or less the way it should, given the rules of this fictional universe. It opens and closes with cameos by dead figures from Jesse’s past - Mike at the beginning, Walt and then Jane at the end - and frequently jumps back to Jesse’s long period of captivity with Todd in between the Season Five episodes “Granite State” and “Felina.” But the majority of the film is a simple instructional narrative, covering only a few days time, about how to get out of town when you’re the most wanted fugitive in the American Southwest. ![]() In the end, the story is more or less what we all should have expected, based on how Breaking Bad leaned so heavily on what Gilligan liked to call “the in-between moments” that most crime stories skip over. But from the moment word leaked out, there was wild speculation as to what it would be about, how much ground it might cover, and who from the original series - alive or dead by the end of it - might make an appearance. I already published my spoiler-free thoughts on the film, and now it’s time to go old-school recapping, like I did for every episode of Breaking Bad, with full spoilers for El Camino coming up just as soon as I’m sized for love…īreaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan went to extreme lengths to keep the very existence of this movie, let alone its contents, a secret from the outside world for as long as possible. Jesse Pinkman is back in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which Netflix released on Friday. ![]() They love hosting a party and get acquainted with people from all walks of life. Now I know what you’re thinking there are 4 elements and 12 zodiac signs how do they go together? Let me explain, the 12 zodiac signs are divided into 4 equal parts with 3 zodiac signs in each element. Something like, “Wow, she’s so fierce, her fire element must be dominant”. Our bodies, too, are formed by these 4 elements, and the way zodiac signs and their elements help us figure out a personality is by finding which of these elements are dominant in a person. So it would best say that these core elements come together to form the natural world. Out of these four elements, almost everything about nature is defined and comes into being. Hmm, what are the 4 types of zodiac signs, you wonder? Well, our world consists of 4 major elements, namely fire, earth, air, and water. Scrapbots in Fallout 4 Automatronĭespite the name indicating that they’re poorly constructed, scrapbots are pretty hardy and can put up a hell of a fight. They’re robots with offensive capabilities that are powered by a living human brain (which is a more efficient way of both storing information and running programmes than a standard computer chip). Robobrains have been present from the very beginning of the Fallout series, and are hideous fusions of man and machine that prewar scientists wrought in their infinite hubris. If you encounter some tougher ones keep moving to avoid their weapons and send your companion in to draw fire. They can have a number of different weapons, from energy guns to standard ballistics, cryo, or flamethrowers. The basic models usually go down in one shot and the stronger iterations not much more, so as long as you don’t get overwhelmed these guys shouldn’t present much of a problem. Junkbots are basically perambulatory engines. You do, however, often get a few of them popping up at once backing up the other robots, so take them out first to make life a little easier for yourself. They’ll go down in one or two hits, and are more annoying than they are an actual threat. They’re basically loudspeakers that can move, but in Automatron you’ll run into weaponised ones that can fire energy weapons. Not all robots are created equal, because they’re literally put together from bits of metal and so on. Different robot difficulties in Fallout 4 Automatron They’re also weaker to body shots than they are to head shots. Remember that in general robots are more susceptible to energy damage and don’t take any any damage from radiation. This means that combat is sadly inevitable, so to give you the heads up on what you’ll be facing here’s a guide to the enemies in Automatron, and what to expect from them. It's a great ability, but I never really used it to survive a lot. I use his 1 quite a bit to clear off enemies and close distances. ![]() Or have it scale like his 1 where the melee weapon adds damage (I'm not too sure if that's how it works but that's what I read) I love having a cc ability for Excalibur/Excalibur Umbra, but they need to rework it to have additional properties or to deal higher amounts of damage. But past level 30 I think, it suffers a lot and can't kill as well, not even offer a chip in enemy health. I love that ability quite a lot when dealing with low level enemies. Although it might be cuz I play much higher levels now it could be that, but it still feels kinda off. Although his EB is crazy strong still, it could benefit from a crit boost at around 31÷, cuz if you're gonna use Sacrificial Mods on EB, at least makenit crit viable. I also find it dumb that we don't get 10 - 12 additional mod capacity with the EB stance active, it feels really stupid. Wukong is good now but feels like he doesn’t offer a whole lot of use outside of just not dying and doing some mediocre damage The utility of radial blind is also quite nice. I feel like Wukong is better for surviving by a decent margin but umbras damage output is way higher. The attack speed in a decent build kind of just lets you melt things even if the stats themselves are kind of subpar now. Imo his exalted blade could use a small tweak of CC, CD, or SC improvement but honestly I still see damage numbers up to 80-90k so I can’t really complain. I’m basically invincible whenever I’m in between enemies.Īlthough the stance is different it’s still insanely strong to have such spam able damage with infinite punchthrough. I use efficiency on umbra simply because i am constantly slash dashing. Slash dash has invincibility and gap closing, as well as great mobility if you bullet jump right before it. His three is entirely useless but most frames have 1-2 abilities that are just complete shit. So we lost capacity in all exalted weapon builds and never got it back. The baked in stances STILL DO NOT GIVE CAPACITY. Umbra needs QoL changes, mainly exalted weapons need their missing capacity from the exalted rework over a fucking year ago.
